Back in the Canadian Saddle (and I won!)

I received a note from hubby while I was away suggesting that it was safe to come home. I had indeed won the toothpaste tube wars!
Ya gotta love patience and the fact that I had a leg up on being away at the right time.  To be fair he was also away during this time so I think it evens out in the end.

My trip ended with a day in London, but before I go there I should do a photo recap now that I am back in the real world.  BTW I did do one more post from Gatwick that is surfing the electronic abyss out there as it never posted in the end.

The view from the beach was absolutely amazing and my first day at the hotel was spent walking on the beach.

The locals were complaining about the bitter cold.  These were the melting icicles that were hanging on the cliffs.  It left the sand a bit crunchy.  I didn’t find it anything but fresh.

The shore line was very rocky.  There were nooks and crags everywhere.

I walked among the rocks and found caves to venture into.  I stepped in to feel the moist cold but settled on being an outsider looking in.

The colours were amazing.  This area is known for its mineral mining.  Iron and Gold.I found a few creatures on my walk.

The hotel was built into the cliffs and were able to have a panoramic view from the classroom built as a bay below the hotel.

I ended my walk by collecting some treasures and with some well deserved Latte to warm up.
