Gift Received

It was just the other day that I mentioned giving unexpected gifts and there it was.  An unexpected gift was received.  Caryl is a sock club member and has been so since the very beginning.  I received an email from her last week asking if I minded that she set up a group on Ravelry for the fans of Yummy Yarn Studio and especially for those who are members of the Sock Club.  I had no idea how to set this up and frankly didn’t even think that Yummy Yarn Studio deserved such a spot in the Ravelry world.  But there it is proudly waving the new Wilson Banner.

He’s so cute!

So thank you Caryl so much for thinking that we deserve a group and for taking the time to put it up on Ravelry.  I am thrilled that you are a fan!

You have inspired me to write my own gifts post. Don’t know when I’ll get around to it (hopefully today).

I’ll take a pic of my Saroyan eventually so you can see how gorgeous it looks in Endive.

    • I didn’t realize you had a Blog. Where to I find it? AN yes we are still planning on getting the Gallery up. It is on the list. A ways down but on the list . Sam Stevenson YummyYarnStudio.com YummyYarnStudio.wordpress.com (A Blog of Yummy Entertainment) Calgary, Alberta, Canada

That’s exactly how it should happen Sam – your fans pay you tribute (plus it saves you some work!)
I am trying to get through my knitting stash so I can start learning to knit socks (no I have never got around to that) and then I can join one of your sock clubs cos I love the look of them and the yarn! I also have to lose a few kilograms (they keep hanging around, persistent little buggers) so my ankles & calves don’t require the patterns to be adjusted for them. I know it can be done but it’s so much less work if I don’t have to : )
Love to you & your boys
