This years Sock Club is a little different. Although I am still designing, I have some incredible help this year. The first pattern release is “Cherokee Hill” designed by Susan Moskwa.
I met Susan last April in Port Ludlow. She is a quiet lady but has an incredibly infectious smile. I was thrilled when she agreed to be one (and the first) of my guest designers.
I met her again this summer at Sock Summit and was able to have a sneak peek at the sock in progress. We shared some maple bacon ice cream (something I don’t think I will try again. I mean the ice cream – not Susan) and then enjoyed the fantastic learning opportunity with the amazing group of people and teachers.
